WYDE, the Impact Exchange, yesterday launched its token $EAT (WYDE: End Hunger), a digital asset designed to generate continuous funding for hunger relief through trading activity. $EAT went live on the Base network and saw more than a 600% price increase in the first 24 hours.
The Problem Is Clear
One in seven Americans lacks reliable access to food. For children, the number is one in five. The hunger relief sector receives $4.27B annually and distributes 9.7 billion meals through established infrastructure. The capacity exists. The funding model is broken.
